| TIP #1 FILL AN IMAGE WITH TYPE
Not to be confused with the standard clipping mask where you fill Type with an image! This one's the opposite. This technique allows you to have a special message or any blog of text render the image.

TIP #5 CHANGING SEAMLESS

TIP #7 VERSATILE VIGNETTE
This chore covers using a Solid Fill Color Layer as the versatile vignette. Using this method allows for a visual representation of the vignette, as you use the Gaussian Blur filter on the mask as opposed to the "guessing" game of setting a "feather" amount for a selection. Mama's method also allows for easier editing for changing the vignette color, size and orientation. Also covered are aspects of the Crop Tool options and File Save for Web command and more!

| TIP #9 XnView
This tip informs you about Cnet.com website, newsletter, and an awesome FREE browser/editor XnView that will blow your mind when you see how fast it generates contact sheets. This program also includes an option to set a header and a footer on the contact page--great for adding client name and your company contact info. You can also Watermark your images or contact sheet in XnView special Print dialog box. I did a test with 70 high res images. Photoshop's Contact Sheet Script took almost 4 minutes. XnView took 5 seconds and created beautiful rich sharp saturated images. I also tested Adobe's Lightroom, which generated the screen preview of the contact sheet fast enough, but boy oh boy, when I tried to print from Lightroom, it took almost 10 minutes to "render" the file and it changed my beautiful vibrant colors to dull desaturated ones! XnView is also a great alternative browser to Windows Explorer and Bridge. It generates thumbnails for many more formats than the regular Windows Explorer; does it quickly and has an interface very similar to File Browser and Bridge. Also has batch capabilities image editing capabilities, and it will create simple web pages and slide shows. But this video will show you only the features of the Contact Sheet and how to get "creative" with it, too! Mama doesn't veer from Photoshop, often, in fact other programs, plugins have been tried, but I always can create an action or technique to achieve the task in Photoshop, alone, quicker. This is really the first time in 8 years of Digital Imaging, that I am recommending something as an enhanced alternative for a function in Photoshop! XnView has image editing commands and tools, which I have not tried because I'm already feeling a little guilty, like I'm "cheating" on Photoshop by liking this browser and contact sheet function better than Photoshop's Bridge...anyway, it's not like we're married, I'm just having a "night out on the town," and you are all invited, too!

| TIP #10 BLEED & SAFE ZONE GUIDES
This tip will show you how to create a Photoshop Action. The action will record the steps you take to set 1/8th inch bleed guides and 3/16 inch safe zone guides around any size or resolution document. No more struggling with dragging to get those guides in the exact position. After saving the action, just click the color coded action button or highlight the name of the action in the Actions palette, and press the Actions palette play button. Presto - the double set of guides will pop on your current document to show you where the bleed (cut line) and safe zone (area where text or important info should not go beyond) guides are.
